Baba Rahman to stake a claim in Augsburg

Ghana left-back, Baba Abdul Rahman says he is eager to stake a claim for himself after a scintillating performance for his club, Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

Rahman has become the most sought-out player in his team after providing 4 assists in 7 games.

Augsburg lies 10th on the Bundesliga table and will need a turnaround in fortunes if they want to make a clear statement after the international break.

And Baba wants to be part of the successful story of his new team.

“My target personally, is to work harder to get more assists for my team.”

“For now, my aim is to help my new team to earn a place in Europe next season and also get a better place on the league standings at the end of the season.”

“The season just started and I have to thank the fans and the team for the faith they have shown in me, it’s not been easy in Germany but it’s okay. We are hoping for the best when we go back.”
