Baba Rahman loses starting slot at Chelsea

Baba Rahman Baba Rahman

Ghana defender Baba Rahman looks to have taken one step backwards in his Chelsea career after having winger Kenedy being preferred to him at left back.

The former Augsburg left back played three good games in the absence of injured John Terry but seems to be paying dearly for a blunder against Southampton last weekend.

Rahman was immediately subbed after misplacing a header which Shane Long capitalized to give the Saints the lead.

The young Ghanaian defender has been left on the bench for today’s game against Norwich which clearly shows where coach Guus Hiddink rates the Ghanaian now.

This will come as a massive blow to the Ghanaian who had shown tremendous improvement in his last three games.
