BA United Board Reject Dissolution Order

The Board of Directors of premier league club, B.A. United is on a collision course with the club?s life patron after they rejected an order dissolving the board. The Life Patron Nana Bosoma Assor Nkawiri, the Omanhene of Sunyani dissolved the Board of Directors yesterday saying that the members of the Board had arrogated to themselves powers that were beyond their periphery.

The Board of Directors also kept the Life Patron in the dark about happenings in the club because they failed to communicate the minutes of their meetings to him.

The Life Patron also slammed the Board for dismissing the club?s management even though only a few members of the Board met to take that decision. But the Board of Directors has shot back saying it is dismayed by the action of Nana Bosoma Assor Nkawiri. Members of the board say they will meet to consider the order which sought to dissolve the body.

They are expected to issue a communiqu? after their meeting. Meanwhile fans of BA United have been calling for calm and restraint among the bigwigs of the club to ensure the club stays United.
