Brong Ahafo United experienced center forward, Alex Asamoah, believes his side is good enough to survive the relegation threat in this year’s Ghana Premier League campaign.

Alex Asamoah promised fans of the troubled B.A United of an improve performance in the remaining matches of the season starting from the game against Hearts of Oak this weekend.

Alex believes the compact nature of the league gives them a bright chance of staying in the league if they can put three wins on a bounce.

According to Alex, “football does not respect position or names but thrives best on current form. “Our performance is not as bad the league table suggests. If we are able to win 2 or 3 games on a bounce, everybody will forget about relegation.

“I admit our performance is not as good as we planned but that should not be enough to condemn us into relegation with 11 matches until the end of the season. Those teams above us are not as far. I believe our performances deserve better than relegation.

“I didn’t start the season the way I wanted it but hopefully I will get better. With my experience in the league, I am sure we will stay in the league at the end of the season. It is all about determination, self believe and the can-do spirit. We are not doomed just yet”.

Brong Ahafo United are currently battling relegation after 19 rounds of matches.
