B.A Stars will on sunday engage regional opponents Aduana Stars in a thanksgiving match at their favourate Sunyani Coronation Park to commemorate their return to the elite division of Ghana Football after spending seven years in the second tier. The two clubs played previously in the the regional Division One League as fierce rivals and both look set to rekindle their rivalry as they battle for supremacy in the region after Aduana Stars have beaten all the premier league clubs in the region in the just ended Glo League.

The match which is being organised by the management team of B.A Stars intends to evoke back memories as the club will play its first match as a premier team on the Sunyani Coronation Park and coincidentally climax Aduana Stars triumph in the Premier League this year.

A management member of the club Mr. Elias revealed the decision of the management to select Aduana Stars as their opponents in the match at the expense of the club's perennial city rivals Bofoakwa Tano as lack of preparation by the latter, the need to play a premier club to test their battle readiness for the upcoming league and a host of other favourable factors.

Meanwhile the teeming supporters of both B.A Stars and Bofoakwa Tano will play in a curtain raiser match on Sunday, but not without a mega party for the supporters of the club the night before to show the management's appreciation to them.
