B/A Fans Miss Zico

PRESSURE MOUNT ON GEORGE ARTHUR AND HIS MANAGEMENT


Supporters of Premier League Campaigners, Brong Ahafo United Football Club have questioned the ability of George Arthur to manage their idol Club. The fans, who had thronged the Coronation Park expecting a win over the NOKIA Boys from Kumasi, were left wondering what lies ahead of the club, as they are currently languishing at the bottom of the league. They have therefore, called on Arthur to concentrate on wining matches rather than going about inciting supporters against the old-Management of the Club, headed by Mr.Kingsley Osei-Bonsu, aka Zico.

Supporters who spoke to Space Sports after United’s goalless drawn game against King Faisals at the Sunyani Coronation Park last Sunday were seemingly annoyed with George Arthur, and his Management who, instead of planning as to how to win matches have resorted to name-calling, and claiming that the old-Management of the Club have been influencing the outcome of their matches with juju. According to the enraged fans, Arthur made a lot of noise about the unprofessional manner under which B/A United was being run, and promised to, within the shortest possible time to purchase a brand new Civilian Bus, build a Club House, and pay a five hundred thousand cedis monthly salary of players, among others. These according to them led them to support him to topple Zico and his Management.However, Arthur and his Management are yet to fulfil even one of those empty promises.

The Supporters have consequently appealed to all followers of the Club to acknowledge that the old Management were not treated fairly and that they did more for the club than any Management in the history of the Club. A fan who wanted to remain anonymous boldly stated that until all followers of this great Club acknowledge that Zico and his young Management did not deserve the treatment meted out to them, and apologise to them accordingly for soiling their reputation with unfounded allegations, we should get ready for Division one because the Club is under a curse.Now,someone’s greed has left to the resignation of even our Life Patron, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrewiri, Omanhene Of Sunyani Traditional Council, so we don’t even have a spiritual head, he said.

He also appealed to Zico and his brother,Mr.Ransford Antwi not to brood over the raw deal meted out to them by the so-called BIGMEN in Sunyani who ganged up to ensure their removal from office, but to pray for their detractors and leave posterity to judge them.
