Ayews see full action in Marseille win over Brest

Both Andre and Jordan Ayew played the full duration of Olympique Marseille’s 1-0 win over Brest on Saturday in Ligue 1.

The Ghana duo were deployed on either flanks of the Marseille attack as manager Elie Baup set out his team to score more goals.

His tactics however did not work out as expected as Brest presented a very formidable and resilient defence in their bid to pick at least a point to aid their relegation fight.

A momentarily lack of concentration in added on time at the end of the first half however saw midfielder Beneoit Cheyrou sneaking in-behind to score the only goal of the game.

Marseille are now back in second-place on 61 points – six adrift leaders PSG who play Nice later with five matches remaining.
