Swansea City’s Ghana winger Andre Ayew is sure the Swans will be fully ready to face Premier League title-holders Chelsea in the league opener on August 8.

Swansea will open their 2015/16 campaign with a trip to the Stamford Bridge in early August.

And, Andre who signed a long-term contract with the Liberty Stadium outfit believes they will be ready for the Chelsea.

“You need to be real calm when getting into a new club, there are a lot of games that will be played. What is important now is the preparation-we will be going for pre-season,” he told reporters in Accra.

“We are going to have few friendly matches to prepare our self well to have a great game against Chelsea; they are the league champions. We are going to take it easy.”

Andre was a target for a handful of Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspurs, Newcastle United and Liverpool.
