Ayew opens door on summer Anfield switch

Andre Ayew has opened the door on a potential summer switch to Anfield.

The Ghanaian midfielder has revealed he wants to leave Marseille this summer putting the Reds firmly on alert.

With only a year remaining on his deal in France an exit this summer now looks most likely.

French daily La Provence reported the news and suggest Newcastle could also be keen.

But the promise of Champions League football, and a possible tilt at the Premier League title, should swing things Liverpool's way.

Indeed the 24-year-old has apparently gone as far as saying in the past that should the Reds come calling it would be impossible for him to turn them down.
