Ayew not ready for Manchester United move

Andre Ayew has played down suggestions he could join Manchester United in the summer.

The Ghana international is currently plying his trade in France for Marseille, who stand in the way of the Reds reaching the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.

It has been reported that Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to sign Ayew when the transfer window reopens, but the young winger insists he is not ready to make such a move.

“Several foreign clubs have approached me, I could make other choices, sporting or financial, but I'm only 20 years old,” he said. "I've decided to stay to continue my progression."
