‘Avram not to win AFCON is a recipe for disaster’

Ghana Football Association’s target for newly appointed Black Stars Coach Avram Grant for the 2015 African Cup of Nations is a recipe for disaster, according to former Ghana Football Association boss, Nyaho Tamakloe.

Grant will not be fired if he fails to win the 2015 AFCON, as the President of the Association confirmed that the timing to win the AFCON will be unrealistic.

But in a different twist to this, former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe disagreed, saying; “Grant has no choice but to win the next AFCON to save the blushes of the team after their poor showing in Brazil.”

“The decision taken by the FA is a recipe for disaster, this could have saved the blushes of the FA after what happened in Brazil.”

“Grant or whoever is coming to take the team should win the next African Cup of Nations, so that Ghanaians will be at ease.”

“For me, if what they are saying is true, then it’s sad, because he has to win the African Cup of Nations by all means,” Nyaho told sportscrusader.com.
