Avenue to be provided for Ghanaian coaches

AVENUE TO BE PROVIDED FOR GHANAIAN COACHES TO BE TECHNICALLY CERTIFIED

Mediocre foreign coaches may well become redundant and extinct in Ghanaian Football.

Not being out-done by his previous status of being one of the first ever Ghanaian Fifa Licensed Players Representative, Kasey Kwame Duku is now making steps to gaining his UEFA Professional Football coaching qualification.

Already a qualified English FA coach and now a fully fledged member of the prestigious London Football Coaches Association, Kasey in recent times has been acquiring qualitative tips and experience and fine tuning his coaching and arming his repertoire at none other than the state of the art Arsenal Academy and that of West Ham Academy also known in the industry as ‘The academy’ due to its productivity. Both academies are very well respected and ranked highly. Kasey is known to have a wide network of contacts ranging from Leeds, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona to clubs in Belgium, Greece and as far as Brunei.

Kasey first came to prominence as far back as in 2005 when along with his business partner Alex Quarcoo they came to the aid and provided support to the U17 Starlets team in Gambia whom went on to gain runners up spot in the infamous ‘Ghost Goal’ finals in Gambia. Their efforts from there was followed up with trials for top Premiership sides for the likes of talented youngsters Sadat Bukari, Opoku Agyemang and Mubarak Wakaso.

As a proven talent spotter, Kasey is now able to ply his technical coaching skills at the highest academy level and is well equipped to develop and guide the talented youngsters and aid them to elevate and exceed their potential. The former pupil and product of Millwall Academy, also occasionally piped his playing skills against the likes of David Beckham and Sol Campbell at school boys level (Tom Hood School, Chingford school and Holy family School respectively) and now hopes to utilise his contacts and provide a bridge between the GFA coaches and the London FA to enable local coaches selected by the GFA to gain the opportunity to enrich themselves by backing their local experience qualities with enhanced UK certified UEFA Pro coaching qualifications.

In an interview on a local radio station, Kasey applaud the GFA for their endeavour shown following their highest FIFA ranking ever and sang special praises to President Nyantakyi and his deputy Fred Pappoe and described the current regime as refreshing to African football and very capable of elevating Ghanaian Football to enable it to realise its true potential to dominate Africa and maintain its status on the world stage preferable with a local or Ghanaian coach at the helm.
