Godwin Attram has lashed out at Ernest Berfi, the Kumasi based referee who was in the middle of their game against Aduana Stars on Sunday.

The Dormaa boys were held to a one all draw by Accra Gt. Olympics at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on match day 27 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The Wonder club shot into the lead through Isaac Nyarko, before Nana Yaw Afriyie rescued his side after converting from the spot kick to bring his side level.

Godwin Attram, former Black Stars player has poured out his frustration over the penalty kick which referee Berfi awarded Aduana Stars.

“The referee entered the field with the results. Ever since I returned to play the Ghana Premier League, I have never appreciated officiating,” Attram said in a post-match interview.

“If a team will train throughout the week and enter into a game for a referee to decide the fate of the game, then Ghana football has a long way to go.

“The penalty call by the referee against us was very bad, it is not football. Aduana Stars don’t deserve to be lying on the 2 position, because it doesn’t show in their performance”.

The match officials of the game were escorted from Dormaa by security personnel, because the home fans were also dissatisfied with the decision of the match officials to deny them a goal.
