Ashia admits bluntness

Ghana have it all to do against Mozambique in a fortnight, says Kennedy Ashia.

The Liberty Professionals attacking midfielder was part of the Ghana's Under 23 side that lost 1-0 in the crucial All Africa Games qualifier

Ashia believes Ghana must avoid wastefulness and urged pro-activeness.

“We played better than they did but we were not sharp and that's what we really have to improve in Accra," the player said.

"I think we need to score early to have any advantage."

An 85th minute own-goal was all the luck Mozambique needed in Maputo on Saturday as the Meteors were on their way to getting an important draw.

It was midfielder Kojo Poku who turned the ball into his own net after a goal mouth scramble.
