Ashanti Gold’s Ivorian import Didier Kore has officially joined Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien on a three year deal.

Kore joined the Tunisian outfit as a free agent after his contract runs out with the just crowned Ghanaian premier league champions, Ashanti Gold after spending four solid seasons with the Miners.

CS Sfaxien coached by Portuguese tactician Paolo Duarte sanctioned the transfer of the former Stade d’ Abidjan midfielder on the transfer deadline day in Tunisia on Wednesday, 16th September, 2015 after passing his medicals and he will be a direct replacement for Congolese international Lema Mabidi who has joined Moroccan top-flight side Raja Cassablanca.

The 26 year old attacker played a key role in Ashanti Gold’s success in the 2014/15 Ghanaian season after the Miners ended their 19 years league title drought and after achieving that feat with the Obuasi lads opted to seek a new challenge this time with former CAF Confederations Cup champions, CS Sfaxien.
