Ashgold draw with Lions in Top Four game

Obuasi, Aug. 19, GNA - Obuasi Ashantigold and Kpando Heart of Lions settled for a goalless drawn game in their day five clash of the GHALCA Top Four encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Thursday.

With the result, both sides thus have six points apiece with Accra Hearts of Oak topping the summit with 11 points.

Ashantigold and Heart of Lions played a determined game throughout but good goalkeeping by Fatau Dauda of Ashgold and Lions' Joseph Addo thwarted all the efforts by the strikers to find the net.

The last minutes of the game saw Ashgold in a good position to score but a glorious chance by Sampson Cudjoe in the 86th minute bounced off the crossbar into play to end the game goalless.
