AshantiGold, Olympics fined GHC1,250 each

Title chasers, AshantiGold and relegation battlers, Great Olympics have been handed fines for fan troubles.

Video evidence has proven that fans of AshantiGold behaved improperly by rushing on the match officials in their game with New Edubiase.

Such acts constitutes misconduct according to GFA Regulation 39 (7) (a) thereby attracting a fine of GHC1,250.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association also found Olympics guilty of the same offence in their game with Chelsea at the El-Wak Stadium.

During the recess of the game, supporters of Olympics besieged the entrance to the dressing rooms of the match officials thereby making it impossible for the match officials to access their rooms.
