Asante Kotoko releases Augustine Okrah

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that Premier League champions Asante Kotoko has agreed to terminate the contract of winger Augustine Okrah.

According to our sources, the player and the club agreed to an amicable parting of ways because opportunities were going to be hard to come by for the winger.

Okrah, who helped Asante Kotoko win the Premier League title in 2012, went out on loan to Liberty Professionals last season, but footy-ghana.com sources reveal that he is not part of head coach Mas-Ud Dramani’s plans.

Footy-ghana.com understands that Okrah, who was previously with the Red Bull Soccer Academy, is set to join Premier League returnees Bechem United.
