Asamoah keen on City switch

Derek Asamoah has admitted he is hoping to turn his loan spell with Chester City into a permanent deal, although he is in no rush to find himself a new club.

Asamoah was shown the door by Lincoln manager Keith Alexander last week and the Ghana international has hinted over a return to the Saunders Honda Stadium, saying: ?My agent gave Mark Wright his number so I?m hoping Chester will arrange to have talks with me for next season.

?But it?s been a long hard stressful season for me and it?s nice to have a couple of weeks off, have a break, and reflect on the season.

?I?m a free agent at the moment and I?ve left it up to my agent to find clubs who are interested in me.?
