Arthur's approach was wrong-Fiako

Mr. Kwame Ntow-Fiako, Accra Representative of Brong Ahafo United said that the approach by George Arthur, a former player of the club in making a donation of a 25 million cedis fully equipped office to the club was wrong.

Mr. Ntow-Fiako told the GNA Sports that the former player failed to inform the management of the club before making the donation adding that they only heard it through the media.

He said the management of the club was not aware of the presentation describing it as an attempt by some people to hide behind the former player to take over the administration of the club and cause confusion in it.

" There is a bad motive behind the presentation and the club does not need such a donation since it does not augur well for the progress of the club" Mr Ntow-Fiako said.

The Accra Representative told the GNA Sports that the club has plans of building its own house together with an office, therefore "we are not interested in anything from Arthur who on many occasions has undermined the management of the club".

He cited an instance when Arthur threatened to let an opponent of the club lodge a protest against them for using an unqualified player who in actual fact has been duly registered by the club.

He said Arthur was nearly expelled from the Sunyani Coronation Park by fans of the club recently for his acts against the club. Mr. Ntow-Fiako said the entire supporters of the club are solidly behind the current management led by Kingsley Osei-Bonsu, for they are poised to win the remaining four league matches to remain in the premiership.

He commended Mr. Osei-Bonsu for working hard to redeem the image of the club by bringing them back into the premiership and motivating players to give off their best in the league.

It would be recalled that George Arthur a former player of BA United made a presentation of a 25 million cedis fully equipped office to the club but the management and supporters of the club rejected his offer.
