Arsenal official suspended for four league games

Berekum Arsenal official Zackaria Zaid has been suspended for four matches in the Glo Premier League weekend ahead of a disciplinary hearing.

The sanction begins this weekend.

Zackaria Zaid, a technical advisor is reported to have used abusive language at Assistant Referee 1 Beatrice Thaud during the Glo Premier League match-day-22 fixture between Medeama and Arsenal in Tarkwa.

"It was reported that you were expelled from the technical bench for insulting and threatening the Assistant Referee 1 (Beatrice Thaud).

"You are therefore suspended for four (4) matches including Week 22 in accordance with FIFA Disciplinary Code 18(4) and 49 (1)(a) and you are also to appear before the Disciplinary Committee at the date to be communicated to you in due course," the statement read.
