Arsenal Target Kwadwo Asamoah

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing a double swoop on Serie A for Bari defender Leonardo Bonucci and Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah. Both players are fairly young with Bonucci 23 and Asamoah 21 and that fits in with Wengers policy of buying young stars with bright prospects,

The speculation surrounding Arsenal in the transfer market, especially after another trophy-less season will reach fever pitch, Arsenal will always be the subject of much speculation because of the way that Wenger spends The Gunners money and this particular speculation reported by Tuttosport is a classic example of Arsenal being linked with rising young stars,

That is not to say that there is not merit in the report but neither does it mean that these players are certain to set up camp at The Emirates next season.

Asamoah has already played 29 times for Ghana and crazily has been valued at €30 Million by his club, think they need to knock about 70% off of that to be realistic and Bonucci has played once for Italy and only just joined Bari last season so doubt they will release him cheaply.

Looks like it would not be cheap for these players and if the Tuttosport report is close to be truthful then Arsenal wont get much change out of €20 Million at a min.

Cannot see many Arsenal fans thinking this would be a great deal.
