Appiah not moved by the appointment of a Technical Director

Coach for the senior national soccer team of Ghana James Kwesi Appiah has said that he is not concern about the decision of some top sports wings to appointing a director for Ghana to lead the country to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Speaking in an interview the former Asante Kotoko left fullback said, “As I speak to you now it’s the FA who offered me the job and have not discussed this technical director issue with me”.

“I think we should rather place more emphasis on our return match in Egypt and not this issue which has the tendency to disrupt our attention from the game which can open or shut the door for us to going to Brazil”, Kwesi Appiah said.

Kwesi Appiah lead the Black Stars to demolish the Pharaohs by a convincing 6-1 at the Baba Yara stadium and will travel to Cairo to play the return match on November 19th.
