Appeals Committee rules on two cases

The Appeals Committee of the GFA has ruled on two cases involving teams in the MTN FA Cup competition.

The decisions are:

1. The decision of the Disciplinary Committee is upheld in favour of Westlandes.

Westlandes had earlier had a ruling in their favour at the Disciplinary Committee against Mine Stars. So the decision stands.

Cost of GHS 400 was awarded against Mine Stars.

2. The decision of the Disciplinary Committee was set aside by the Appeals Committee in favour of Upper East United in the MTN FA Cup preliminary round match which they won 2-0.

DC United had earlier had a ruling in their favour at the Disciplinary Committee against Upper East United for fielding an unqualified player.

The Appeals Committee found that the player was duly registered by Upper East United.

Cost of GHS 400 was awarded against DC United.

Following the said decisions of the GFA Appeals Committee, the FA Cup Committee has decided the date and time for the two outstanding MTN FA Cup Round of 64 as follows:
