Apologise to Kotoko fans before you can excel - Hendricks to Duncan

David Duncan David Duncan

Ex-Asante Kotoko skipper Joseph Hendricks is advising under fire manager David Duncan to apologise to the the leadership and fans of the club before he can achieve greater heights with the club.

According to Joseph Hendricks, the indignant Kotoko manager made some derogatory pronouncements about the club he is now managing and must apologise before he can succeed.

The former Kotoko captain who worked with Duncan during his days at AshGold said the manager passed some despicable and demeaning comments about the Porcupine Warriors some time ago which he [Hendricks] believe is now hunting him [Duncan].

"I could keep quiet over this but I love the man [Duncan]. He is one of the best managers in the country who can achieve anything with Kotoko but he must apologise to the club before he will succeed," Hendricks told GHANAsoccernet.com

"Before he [Duncan] joined Kotoko, he said certain things about the club which I can't put out but I will only advice him that he should try to recollect and apologise to the club.

He can choose to ask for forgiveness from God and that will also help him."

Hendricks also added that Kotoko is not deficient when it comes to players as they have some of the best materials in the country and that Duncan should only listen to him and act to become successful.

"I feel sad when I see Kotoko struggling. They have some of the best materials in the country and must not be where they are now.

Duncan must just accept my advice and apologise and see what God will do for him," Hendricks concluded.

Duncan has been under fire for picking two out of a possible nine points in three matches since the commencement of the Ghana Premier League.
