Apata Kofi F/C pip Albafos

Pomadze, (C/R) July 6, GNA - A goal scored by midfielder, Albert Annan in the 89th minute enabled Pomadze Apata Kofi F/C to clinch a narrow 1-0 win over their local rivals Albafos Stars in their Central Region Division Two League match played at Pomadze on Saturday. Albafos Stars who started the match in an effort to bury their opponents forced Apata Kofi F/C to play in their own half for most of the time but failed to score until half time.

Back from the recess, the two teams resumed strongly with each side forcing to make an impact before Annan exploited a defensive blunder to score the match winner in the 89th minute.

In another encounter at Cape Coast, Oguaa United drew 1-1 with Nsamka F/C.
