The testimonial football match in honour of former Ghana international
Sammy Kuffour has received a massive boost with four corporate entities coming
on board as sponsors.
ALL SPORTS can exclusively reveal that domestic airline Antrak
Air, First Allied Savings and Loans Company, Vaniado, Voltic and VIP Bus Service
have confirmed their commitment to the first ever testimonial in honour of a
Ghanaian footballer.
Organised by Proton Sports Services and Danny Gabby Football
Consortium, the game billed to feature some of Kuffour’s teammates at both
Bayern Munich where he made his name and the Ghana national team, comes off on
December 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi where Kuffour grew up.
Also coming for the game to honour Kuffour will be some of the
greatest players world football saw over the past two decades, with the details
set to be outlined at the launch of the match soon.
