Ansong delighted with Executive Committee position

Accra, July 20, GNA - Felix Ansong, Chief Executive of Liberty Professionals has expressed delight at his election unto the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Chief Executive was elected alongside five others unto the most powerful committee of Ghana's football as representatives of the Premier League Clubs at elections held on Wednesday at the GFA Conference room. Others elected were Moses Armah (Medeama SC), Randy Abbey (Mighty Jets), Emmanuel Kyeremeh (Berekum Arsenal), Emmanuel Owusu Ansah (Asante Kotoko) and Fred Crentsil (Hearts of Oak).

Ansong told GNA Sports that he is excited at the opportunity to serve on the most powerful committee of Ghana football. "It is a privilege to serve on the Executive Committee. I have been serving Ghana football in various ways and will bring my experience to bear on the Committee."

He debunked rumours of vote-buying by some contestants in the race. "I cannot tell whether they are true because they are rumours. I do not have evidence in that regard." Ansong was one of the first timers elected unto the 24-member Committee.
