Amoah signs two-year deal with Fortuna Sittard

Fortuna Sittard have signed Swedish-born Ghanaian striker Patrick Amoah for two years in a bid to build a winsome side to qualify for the Dutch Eredivisie.

The 26-year-old forward was on a one week trial with the Dutch club and after an impressive performance the technical director Charly Chudik decided to keep him.

“Our scouting reports were very positive on him and we consider ourselves very fortunate that a player like Patrick Amoah has decided to reject other clubs for Fortuna,” Chudik added.

Amoah has already played for Djurgardens, White Star Woluwe and OH Leuven banging 27 goals for White Star when they were in Third Division in 2011.

He is yet to be capped by Ghana or Sweden at any level.
