All Blacks pip local rivals

Cape Coast feb 23, GNA - First division campaigners, Agona Swedru All Blacks started the Central Region second division sub- middle league on a bright note when they pipped their local rivals, Rangers 1-0 in the open match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday. Rangers even though lost the match, they were not disgraced as they matched their opponents squarely throughout the proceedings. After a goalless first half, both teams resumed the second half strongly with Rangers slightly on top.

The game became a ding - dong affair until the 81st minute when All Blacks outside right, Richard Obeng scored the match winner with a free kick.

In another encounter, Ofaakor Odupon Heroes dished out a painful 1-0 defeat over Kasoa Bago F/C.

Inside right Sakordie Gyamfi scored the winning goal in the 27th minute.
