Ghanaian midfielder Bennard Kumordzi has confirmed to Ghana Sports Online he has been banned four months in Belgium.

The former Dijon star-man says he will return to playing in ‘September’.

Kumordzi, 33, failed a mandatory random drug test at his Kortrijk club.

“I don’t know what happened but I have been banned for four months. I will be back in September,” he told Ghana Sports Online.

Kumordzi has enjoyed a journeyed career playing in Greece, France, Sweden and Belgium.

He’s capped eight (8) times by Ghana.
