Albert Adomah returns for Aston Villa game against Colchester

Aston Villa star Albert Adomah could play his first match of the season on Wednesday in almost a month after recovering from a shin injury.

The Ghana international suffered the setback during pre season.

He is now available for selection against League Two side Colchester United in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Adomah missed Saturday's 1-1 draw with fellow promotion hopefuls Hull City at Villa Park.
