Al Hilal reject Abeiku Ainooson has arrived in the country to renew his marriage with Kumasi Asante Kotoko after his contract was terminated by the Sudanese giants.

The former Ghana Premier League best defender had his contract terminated by the Sudanese giants after they suffered elimination from the CAF Champions League.

Reports later emerged in Sudan that Al Hilal hired Abeiku and three other players from Africa prior to their Champions League campaign but unfortunately, they were eliminated.

Therefore, the team decided to send those four hired players to their parents club because they can't accommodate the huge demands of the said players any longer.

The strong defender touched base in Takoradi last Friday and will be moving to Kumasi to meet officials of Asante Kotoko ahead of his return to the club.

Abeiku whose performance was lauded by the fans of Al Hilal won three MVPs in twelve matches for the side as well as being the most consistent player of the side since joining them.

Apart from Abeiku Ainooson the Sudanese giants have also terminated the contracts of fellow Ghanaian Nelson Ladzagla, Ivorian winger Cheikh Moukouro and Senegalese striker Souleymane Cisse.
