SportsInGhana.com can exclusively reveal that Egyptian giants Al Ahly have made former Back Stars striker Godwin Attram their top transfer target for next season. The record African Champions’ League winners African have also expressed interest in securing the signature of the veteran Ghanaian striker from struggling FC Smouha.

News reaching yours truly state that the 31-year-old former Ghana Under-17 captain has been impressive for his side in the league with nine goals for the relegation threatened side.

Rivals Zamalek have already tabled an offer to sign the former PSV Eindhoven player but will now have to beat competition from their perennial rivals Ahly.

Attram says he is considering both offers and will join the club that meets his evaluation.

“Yes it’s true. Zamalek have officially made an offer. But there is interest from Ahly. I heard they have also been talking to Smouha,” Attram said.

“I will wait any of the teams that meet the price, I will join them. I must say that if there is no relegation this season I doubt if Smouha will allow me to go,” he added.
