Akaminko in Ghana's starting line-up

Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah has named his starting line-up to face Lesotho in Friday's 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi.

The Black Stars will start the game with players who are experienced and have played in the side for a while.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey will be in the post while Samuel Inkoom and Harrison Afful are the Black Stars lateral defenders.

Afful gains a place in the starting team for the first time in many months after impressing in training this week.

John Boye will partner Jerry Akaminko at the heart of the defence while Agyemang Badu, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah and Derek Boateng will play in midfield.

The attack will be led by Jordan Ayew and Dominic Adiyiah.
