Ajax signs Stanley Aboraa

Ajax have signed Ghana-born Belgian Stanley Aboraa (16 years old) for a period of three years. Urby Emanuelson, 18 years old, signs for two years.

Both players come from the youth development program of Ajax and played for the A-juniors of coach Danny Blind. They won the national title with the juniors this year.

Aboraa played one season for Germinal Beerschot in Antwerp, the Belgian club with which Ajax have a technical collaboration. Offensive midfielder Aboraa scored 10 goals in the 20 matches he played with the juniors the past season. Defender Emanuelson was fielded 24 times by coach Blind. He scored 2 goals in those matches. Both players also played for Ajax 2. In the last league match against PSV 2 both scored a goal and thus turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 victory for Young Ajax.

As usual, Ajax do not disclose financial details of the agreement.
