Asante Kotoko Ivorian import, Ahmed Toure has stated that he is unaware of a move linking him to Lebanese giants Nejmeh FC.

There has been viral local media reports indicating that Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with Lebanese top-flight side, Nejmeh FC for a loan move of Ahmed Toure and he will leave Ghana after the Porcupine Warriors Sunday’s[30th September, 2015] FA Cup final game against Medeama.

Ahmed Toure has been the hottest player in Asante Kotoko set up as he has netted 11 goals in the ongoing First Capital Plus Bank Premier League and for the past months he has been linked with a move away from the Kumasi based club.

However, the latest transfer report on Ahmed Toure is a loan move to Lebanese side, Nejmeh FC but the 28 year old goal poacher has stated that he is unaware of a report linking him to Lebanon.

“I’m unaware that I’m joining a club in Lebanon. I don’t know anything about it because nobody has told me anything, even I have not received any offers from a foreign club,” Ahmed Toure exclusively told Allsports.com.gh.

And in order to confirm whether Nejmeh FC and Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement for Ahmed Toure, the communication director of the Kumasi based club, Kwaku Ahenkorah told Allsports.com.gh that Toure is still a Kotoko player and he has not been loaned to any club in Lebanon.
