Ahmed Toure hopes Kotoko can build on last Wednesday’s win at Great Olympics when they visit the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park as guests of Liberty Professionals on Sunday.

The Porcupines have been inconsistent for much of the 2014/15 campaign but with a 3-2 win over Olympics serving as motivation, the Kotoko marksmen wants the team to finish their second straight away game positively and gain some momentum into their next home game.

He told the club's website: “We don’t have to look back again. We have to use last Wednesday’s win against Olympics as the starting point to redeeming our image as a club and as players. We have taken some hard results lately but I hope Wednesday’s victory propels us to another one on Sunday”.

The reigning premier league champions stayed back in Accra after the Olympics game. They return to Kumasi on Sunday after playing Liberty Professionals to face Bechem United whom they beat 3-1 in the first round.

“We must win again on Sunday”, said the striker who scored a brace against Olympics. “Now we are at the 7th position and I believe another win on Sunday could take us into the top-4. Everybody will then know that Kotoko is back in business. We disappointed our home fans before coming to Accra so we want to go back with our heads high”.
