Former Asante Kotoko attacker Ahmed Toure is in talks with two Clubs in an attempt to return to the Ghana Premier League.

Toure cancelled his contract with Kotoko prior to the beginning of the season after returning from a shot stint at Lebanese Club Nejmeh.

The Burkinabe international abrogated his deal with the Porcupine Warriors having failed to turn out for the team’s preseason exercise.

The player who is currently in France has revealed he is in talks with two local Clubs ahead of the second round of the League.

“I’m in France now but will be in Ghana next week Saturday or Sunday. I’m currently in talks with two clubs in Ghana, so I will meet the people in charge and discuss terms with them. I won’t reveal whether the team is in Kumasi or Accra,” he told Kumasi-based Boss FM.

“By God’s grace, I will play the second round of the Ghana Premier League. If everything is okay, why not.

“I have my personal physical trainer who is working to keep me in shape. I’m currently training with a second division team. Before I went to France, I was training with Asec [Mimosas].
