Agyemang-Badu: We have to remain focused

Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has warned the Black Stars to remain focused despite their sweet win over Guinea on Wednesday.

Ghana had to recoil after a flying start to put away a skillful Guinean side to maintain its lead in Group E of the 2015 AFCON qualifier in Tamale.

Badu scored late on to put the gloss on a resolute Black Stars display with Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew scoring early on.

The Black Stars have underperformed in recent games and have had to endure the backlash of the fans.

Badu however insists the team’s job is not yet done despite sitting pretty at the top of their qualifying group with two games left to go,

“We worked very hard today but the job is not yet done,” the Udinese star said after the game.

“The other teams have picked up their game and we must remain focused for the remainder of the matches.”

Ghana has opened a two-point lead at the top of Group E with two games left to play.
