Agogo on trial with Tanzanian Club

Ghanaian striker Franklin Agogo has joined Tanzanian side Simba Sports Club for trials before signing a contract depending on his performance.

Simba's head coach Zambian Patrick Phiri said Agogo has been given an opportunity to prove his worth.

Should the striker meet the satisfaction of the team officials, he would be signed for next league season.

Phiri said Simba are in need of reinforcing the team`s forward line to ease scoring profligacy.

The Zambian coach is currently intensifying Simba team in a bid to resume league action with a bang.

According to Phiri, he has worked out with defensive and midfield woes but striking is still a job unfinished.

Third placed in the league standings, Simba need to overtake second placed Kagera Sugar to build up hope of finishing second in the premiership
