Agogo Admits He Needs To Do More

To Impress Ghana coach.

Cyprus-based Ghanaian striker Junior Agogo has conceded that a lot depends on him in order to make a comeback into the Ghana national team.

The striker, who dazzled the fans at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, said he wants to be part of the World Cup squad of the four-time African champions.

He told Joy FM that his current form at club level should catch the eye of coach Milovan Rajevac ahead of this summer's finals in South Africa.

The Apollon Limassol forward said: “I have to start training hard and doing more. I’m happy with my current form and it would be interesting to get called up for my national team.”
