Afriyie Acquah in Ghana squad for Senegal-Mali friendlies

Midfielder Afriyie Acquah has maintained his place in the Ghana squad for international friendlies against Senegal and Mali later this month, Sampdoria have confirmed.

The 22-year-old has been rewarded for his sterling show for the Black Stars at the 2015 AFCON tournament where he helped Ghana finished second, overshadowing Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure in the final game.

Acquah and a host of other regulars are expected to keep their places in the Ghana squad for the games.

He will be seeking to build his international stats with the Black Stars from his current 14 games and a goal.

Ghana will play against Senegal and Mali in France with games scheduled for Le Havre and Paris.
