Wydad line up Serb coach

RABAT: African Cup Winners Cup holders Wydad Casablanca of Morocco have reportedly lined up Serb coach Zarko Olarevic as a replacement for Argentine Luis Fullone, who quit three months ago over a pay dispute.

ASEC rout Rio

ABIDJAN: Defending champions ASEC thrashed Rio Anyama 5-0, but remain two points behind leaders Stade Abidjan after 10 rounds of Group A action in the two-pool first phase of the Ivory Coast championship.

Bamenda lose match and lead

YAOUNDE: Surprise Cameroon league pacesetters PWD Bamenda lost 2-0 at Union Douala and have been joined at the top by Cotonsport Garoua, who triumphed 1-0 at third placed Bamboutos Mbouda.

Axe falls on Zarzis and Djerba
