Cameroon 4-1 Tunisia (Aggregate: 4-1)

Tunisia who had given Cameroon a-chase-of-the-Lion in the first leg where completely walked over by the West African side in the second leg.

It took only five minutes for Pierre Webo to open the flood gate for Cameroon.

Benjamin Moudandjo made it two before the half time break. In the second half however, Jean Makoun scored twice whiles Ahmed Akaichi pulled one for Tunisia. Egypt 2-1 Ghana (Aggregate 3-7)

Ghana haven’t white washed the Pharaohs in the first leg by 6-1 where one foot in Brazil as it would have taken nothing but an unknown magic to prevent the Black Stars to go to Brazil.

Nonetheless the Egyptians believed they could surprise their Ghanaian counterpart. Amr Zakhi scored the opener in the first half from Aboutrika’s free kick.

Substitute Mohammed Gedo scored the second goal for the Pharaohs in the 84th minutes but their joy was short-lived as returnee, Kevin Prince Boateng converted Asamoah Gyan’s cross into the net in the 89th minute.

Algeria became the last and the only team outside West Africa to book a ticket to Brazil.

Defender Bougherra scored the only goal in the 47th minute from a goal mouth scramble when Bakare Kone tried to clear his lines.
