African Coaches Invited For Clinic In Argentina

Argentina 10, a group of Coaches at the International Soccer Centre in Argentina have expressed their desire to share their technical knowledge and expertise with their African colleagues as a means of improving on the latter’s ability to analyze and vary their tactics during matches.

In an interview from their base in Buenos Aires in Argentina, Coach Christian Loverinvich, a senior member of the coaching staff stressed that as the most gifted continents, as far as soccer is concerned, the time has come for Africa and South American Coaches to share ideas as to how to beat the rest of the world, and it’s in the light of this that we want to work closer with our African Colleagues he said.

And to show their seriousness, the group has thrown an invitation to all African Coaches wanting to improve on their professional knowledge in football. Sports journalists who would want to also know more than just writing about football have also been invited for the clinic, which takes place in Buenos Aires from 18th- 22 November 2002.

A Ghanaian businessman and sports enthusiast who is the African representative of Argentina 10, Mr. Ransford Antwi, in an interview also stated that the group is working on a proposal to be introduced to most of the Football Associations in Africa about the possibility of working closer with them.
