Afful: Esperance take good care of me

Ghana international Harrison Afful has disclosed that he will not leave Esperance to Europe to earn little.

He said several European clubs are on his heels but the offers are below his expectations. The 28-year-old earned his World Cup debut against Germany last Saturday and got an assist in Ghana’s first goal.

“I have received offers but I felt they did not fit what I expected,” Afful told Fifa.com. “I am in Tunisia, they have always taken care of me there. I do not want to go just to try.”

However, Afful has stated that he will not shut the door on any club that will bring a promising deal from Europe.

“If one day I get an offer that interests me it is clear that I will study.”

The former Gomoah Fetteh Feyenoord player has featured for Esperance since 2009 helping them to win trophies on the continent. The versatile full back is being courted by French giants Olympique Marseille.
