Aduana defender Akuoko claims foreign interest

Aduana Stars veteran defender Emmanuel Akuoko has hinted a possible move from the Ghana top-flight league after claiming interest from foreign clubs.

‘Obubulebu’ as he is affectionately called insists he has paid his dues to the Dormaa-based club after serving them for seven seasons and is ready to leave.

“Many foreign clubs are talking to my agent and I’m ready to play abroad but I can't disclose them now,” Akuoko told Goal Ghana. “I have served my club [Aduana Stars] wholeheartedly for seven seasons, and I think I've been a good servant to the technical team, playing body and the community at large.”

Akuoku has one year left on his contract and was part of the Aduana Stars squad that won the Premier League in a fashionable style during their maiden participation in the 2009-10 season.
