Adotey takes temporal charge of team, replaces runaway Tom Strand

Medeama technical chief Augustine Evans Adotey will take temporal charge of the team until a permanent coach is appointed, the club's president has confirmed.

Adotey, who doubles as Ghana's Under-17 female team coach, will be in charge of the CAF Confederation Cup return encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns on May 18.

“Our last two league games were handled by Adotey and we won both, he is a good coach and will see to our coming matches," club president Moses Armah said

He replaces runway Swedish trainer Tom Strand who went AWOL after the side's 3-1 defeat to the South Africans in Pretoria.
