Adomah nets opener in Middlesbrough draw

Ghana winger Albert Adomah’s splendid scoring form continued on Saturday afternoon as the 25-year-old struck the opener for his club Middlesbrough as the Smoggies were held to a 1-1 draw by Watford in the English Championship at the Riverside Stadium.

The ex-Bristol City midfielder, who is expected to report to the Black Stars camp in Turkey on Monday ahead of World Cup qualifying play-off against Egypt, registered Middlesbrough’s first goal of the match in the 23rd minute after striking past Watford goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, who left Arsenal in 2012. Adomah has now scored 7 goals for Middlesbrough in 14 English Championship appearances.
